Tvoření je můj život. Odmalička mám potřebu něco vytvářet, navlékat, šít a barvit. Od
prvních pokusů s batikováním v prádelním hrnci, přes šití originálních oděvů jsem se
postupem času dostala k barvení látek různými technikami (batika, monotisk, sítotisk)
a od oděvů přešla k patchworku a mixed media textilní tvorbě. Při tvorbě využívám
textilní i netextilní materiály, motivy a nápady si skicuji nebo si vytvářím pracovní
koláže k nalezení kompozice, myšlenky a vyvážení barev. Baví mě pracovat
kombinací textilních technik a používat zdánlivě neslučitelné prvky.
Byla jsem členkou Bohemia Patchwork klub – art quilt klub, SAQA. V současné době
jsem členkou skupiny Art Quilt Harbour, kde se realizuji textilní art tvorbou na
společných projektech. Velmi si cením rovněž možnosti vystavovat a spolupracovat s
mezinárodní textilní výstavou Prague Patchwork Meeting.

Creating is my life. Ever since I was a child, I have had a need to create, thread, sew
and dye. From the first attempts with batik in a laundry pot, through sewing original
clothes, I gradually got to dyeing fabrics using various techniques (batik, monoprint,
screen print) and moved from clothes to patchwork and mixed media textile creation.
When I create, I use textile and non-textile materials, I sketch motifs and ideas or
create working collages to find composition, ideas and color balance. I enjoy working
with a combination of textile techniques and using seemingly incompatible elements.
I was a member of Bohemia patchwork club – Art Quilt Club, SAQA. At the present
time I´m the member of Art Quilt Harbour, where I enjoy creation of textile art on joint
projects. I very much appreciate the opportunity to exhibit and cooperate with the
international textile exhibition Prague Patchwork Meeting.
